October's Festivities

This Fall season has been absolutely gorgeous and Winnie and Darren both love being outside, which I love. We collect leaves, pine cones, look at ants, kill said ants, explore the yard, ride bikes, and visit with friends. We have visited the apple farm, visited the pumpkin patch, went on multiple hay rides, have made 2 wonderful trips to the mountains, celebrated Da turning 90 years old [!!!!], and made a trip to Kaitlin & Adam's, where we went to the state fair. I've been enjoying how full this time of year is for us. In the coming days/weeks we are trick or treating, Winnie wants to be a ballerina and Darren may be popcorn. We'll see. We are visiting with more friends and family, and prepping for Darren's first birthday party. I can not wait. I gotta feeling he is going to love his birthday cake. :)

Our latest trip to Delaware

At the end of September we made a nice week long visit to Delaware for my brothers wedding. This was probably the first week vacation that actually felt a teensy bit like a vacation since having kids. We did a lot of resting and made some fun memories doing fun activities throughout the week.
